Information on Specific Clinics

Mother and Baby Clinic

Mother and Baby Clinics are a combined appointment for Mum and Baby to be checked 8 weeks after birth. This is part of routine child health surveillance and a chance to get advice on matters such as breastfeeding and contraception, for baby to be weighed and have immunisations.

We offer appointments for routine childhood immunisations on a variety of days and times including Sundays. We have plenty of appointments please call reception and book an appointment if your baby/child is due immunisations.

We will not be able to give your child their immunisations if they are unwell with a high temperature. If you child has a runny nose but no fever they may still be able to have their immunisations. Please discuss any worries that you may have with the nurse.

Cervical Screening

Cervical screening (smear test) is available to women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 64 in England. It is a very important screening test. We have plenty of appointments with a variety of days and times - please call reception and book if you are due your smear test.
